Composition: 97% Tannat, 3% Tempranillo Appellation: Texas High Plains, Timmons Estate Harvested: 9.5.22 & 9.20.22 Finished Wine Stats: 0% Residual Sugar, 3.84 pH, 6g/L TA Wine Maker Notes: Aged for 23 months in neutral oak, 15% new French oak. Vintage Notes: One of the driest vintages of the past few decades reduced the crop by 40%. Heat spurred ripening but rain around harvest made for difficult picking decisions in the vineyard. Color: Bright red translucent center Aromatics: Black cherry, potpourri, brown sugar Flavors: Medium bodied, firm tannins, tart fruit and earth flavors Pairings: Red meats and pasta
