This Picpoul Blanc hails from Rowland Taylor Vineyards in the Texas High Plains and the grapes were grown at an elevation 3,275 ft. in sandy loam soil. There are 5 acres planted of Picpoul Blanc that was planted in 2018. Harvest date August 24, 2025. "An invigoratingly pure aroma is certainly the reward of Picpoul as the grape variety in a sparkling wine. The wine’s whole cream and wilting floral aromas fold nicely into the bright lemon custard flavors on the palate. Crisply pressed, yet cotton-y soft folds of delicate vanilla bean and pastry lacquer are flecked with a pattern of honey blossom. The lightness of the wine is complimented by the lift and clarity of pure lemon juice acidity, bundled by the softness of a comforting homemade marshmallow cream note.
