{"product_id":"bingham-family-vineyards-roussanne-texas-high-plains-2024","title":"Bingham Family Vineyards Roussanne 2024","description":"The Wine An expressive dry white with a little edge, our 2024 Roussanne brings together honey, honeysuckle, ginger, apple, and pear. The fruit carries an almost charred quality, while stone and smoke add a distinctive dimension to its character. On the palate, lively acidity creates tension against a generous, medium-plus body. There is enough weight to meet the wine’s intensity without feeling indulgent. Floral notes and warming spice give this unoaked white an appeal that reaches from cool-weather meals to springtime gatherings. Its combination of weight, freshness, and layered character makes it a compelling choice for dry white wine lovers who enjoy a wine with presence. The Story Rooted and finely tuned in the Texas High Plains, the Binghams are a multigenerational wine-growing family producing 100% Texas-grown, estate-crafted wines. Truly Texas, from soil to song. The Awards Silver, 2026 Houston Livestock and Rodeo Uncorked International Wine Competition Silver, 2026 San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo International Wine Competition The Pairings Especially good with an avocado and tuna salad sandwich or Dijon tarragon cream chicken, this Roussanne brings enough weight for richer dishes and the acidity to refresh between bites. Try it with chicken and dumplings, fresh goat cheese, or an onion tart, too. Open about 15 minutes before pouring. Serve chilled, but avoid over-chilling; keep the bottle on top of the ice rather than submerged. Refrigerate after opening. The Grape Roussanne, a traditional Rhône white grape, finds its Texas home in our estate vineyards within the Texas High Plains AVA. Grown in fine sandy loam soils, it connects a classic grape variety with our family’s Texas roots. Estate grown, produced, and bottled, this wine expresses our connection to the land. Shop Wines by Flavor Rest assured drinking Bingham wine, knowing not only where the grapes were grown and the wine made, but that you are drinking quality wine.
